Renewable power generation is a big deal in Coachella Valley. The best guess is 628 mega watts for the San Gorgonio Pass Wind Farm, but there are more going up and coming online in the pipeline. Then there are the solar panel farms growing here and down in the east valley. Out near Desert Center, Ca, I will add a post for that after I investigate the size and scope.
